Wilson A. Bentley was the first person to gather snowflakes on a glass plate and photograph it. I like this particular come because it shows you that he took several pictures of snowflakes which help to prove that now two snowflakes are alike. This is a first for science and photography, no one has ever taken a picture of individual snowflakes and no one has ever made a camera that was able to magnify an object and that well. Like some information about him at the time said that these photographs were taken at a time that photography was still new. With his help they were able to figure out so many new things about snow in general, but specifically snowflakes.
