There are major differences in today's photojournalism and photojournalism of the past. The title of this journal helps to say it all; photojournalists use to have to take pictures of the aftermath of things like war or with people were stagnant. Back then, the subject matter was more sad, such as fallen soldiers. Today's photojournalist you see in many more different situations such as weddings and not covering just war or news that is happening. With today's photography . . . period, we are able to take pictures a lot faster. We are able to take pictures so fast that we can take them as the event(s) unfold and as it is happening, not just before or after the event is over.
